Build a Consumer Web Product From 0→1 We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to build the web platform for Rips, our fast-growing collectibles trading card app. You’ll own major parts of the web stack, establish frontend standards, and ship a polished consumer product from the ground up.
This is a high-agency, product-focused role for an engineer who can move quickly, make strong technical decisions, and turn designs into exceptional user experiences. What You’ll Do
- Build and launch the Rips web experience from 0→1.
- Own frontend architecture, standards, and best practices using React + TypeScript.
- Build polished, responsive interfaces with animations, motion, and micro-interactions.
- Partner with backend engineers on APIs, data models, and performance.
- Own internal tools and dashboards that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Help establish the foundation for future web, Android, and React Native products.

What We’re Looking For Required:
- 5+ years of fullstack/web engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Shipped a 0→1 consumer web product at a startup — this is a dealbreaker.
- Experience owning frontend architecture/platform standards for a consumer-facing product.
- Strong product sense and ability to independently translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-quality UI.
- Experience building performant, responsive interfaces with motion/animation.
- Ability to self-prioritize, make decisions, and ship quickly in an ambiguous startup environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco 5 days/week.
