Join a multidisciplinary space software development team as a DevOps Engineer. You will deliver solutions that support some of Europe’s most ambitious space programmes. Based in either Diegem, Belgium or Darmstadt, Germany you will play a key role in our SWE PDC project, driving the evolution of our DevOps landscape through CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Grafana, infrastructure management and automation.

Tasks and activities


The scope of work will include:

  • Designing and optimising GitLab CI/CD pipelines that enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Managing and enhancing ArgoCD GitOps workflows to streamline deployment processes.
  • Deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining Kubernetes workloads in a cloud-native environment.
  • Developing and maintaining Helm charts to support scalable and repeatable deployments.
  • Implementing Grafana observability capabilities to monitor, analyse and improve system performance.
  • Driving infrastructure automation through scripting and process optimisation.
  • Supporting Linux platforms, networking components and security scanning activities to ensure a secure and resilient operational environment.


Skills and experience


The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or similar role.
  • Proven expertise with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD and the Grafana observability stack.
  • Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
