Locations: Onsite in Mclean, VA (5 days a week)

Job Overview:

Must Have Qualifications: Hands-on professional Python software development experience and Candidate must have experience with production grade coding (not scripting), Git, SQL, Pandas, and unit testing, along with good communication skills.

Qualifications

3 years’ of hands-on Python software development experience with Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years’ of hands-on Python software development experience with an advanced degree in Computer Science or other related quantitative fields

1-2 years of experience using Git for source control in a team-based development environment.

1-2 years of experience with SQL and relational database development.

1-2 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).

Proficiency with shell scripting for automation, troubleshooting, and operational support.

1–2 years of experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, JUnit) and implementing automated test coverage.

An understanding of fixed income concepts, including duration, convexity, spread, and option-adjusted spread (OAS).

Good oral and written communication skills

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, business acumen, and familiarity with Agile development processes

Compensation: $75.00 – $85.00 per hour. This is the targeted compensation range for this role per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
