About the Role
We are supporting high-growth AI startups looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to lead complex AI implementations for enterprise customers.
Working across engineering, product and customer delivery, you will take ownership of deployments from the initial technical evaluation through implementation, adoption and expansion. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will build solutions, work directly with customer stakeholders and use real-world feedback to influence product development.

- Own enterprise AI deployments from initial evaluation through implementation and expansion
- Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, technical requirements and business challenges
- Design and build custom AI applications, agent workflows, integrations and internal tools
- Develop technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept applications and evaluation frameworks
- Integrate AI platforms with customer data, APIs and existing enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and improve performance across customer environments
- Create diagnostics and dashboards to measure performance and identify regressions
- Partner with sales, product and engineering teams throughout the customer lifecycle
- Translate customer feedback into product improvements and new platform capabilities

Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, applied AI, AI implementation or forward deployed engineering
- Strong Python programming skills and experience deploying production software
- Backend or full-stack engineering experience, ideally within an enterprise-facing environment
- Comfortable working directly with customers and translating business problems into technical solutions
- Experience with LLMs, AI agents, APIs, data pipelines or AI/ML systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug, experiment and iterate quickly
- Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, Streamlit or similar application development tools is beneficial
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure or enterprise integrations is advantageous
- Experience with agent frameworks, document AI, OCR, vision-language models or evaluation frameworks would be valuable
- Previous experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer or technical consulting role is beneficial
- Comfortable taking ownership and working within a fast-moving, early-stage environment
